[The accused entered court]
--- Upon commencing at 2.18 p.m.
JUDGE FLUEGGE: Good afternoon to everybody in the courtroom. I see you're on your feet, Mr. McCloskey.
MR. McCLOSKEY: Yes, good afternoon, Mr. President, Your Honours, everyone.
Just I have some translations uploaded now, just four exhibits that I can read out, and if you would like.
JUDGE FLUEGGE: Yes, please.
MR. McCLOSKEY: P2222. The next one is P2228. The third is P2234. And, lastly, P2251.
JUDGE FLUEGGE: Thank you very much. This morning we received the response of the Defence to the motion of the Prosecution, in relation to 98 bis. I would like to ask you, Mr. McCloskey, if you intend to reply.
MR. McCLOSKEY: Yes, Mr. President. I have spoken with Mr. Thayer and Mr. Vanderpuye about it. I would like to have a chance to discuss a bit with Mr. Gajic. But we should be able to get out a brief reply fairly quickly, I think.
JUDGE FLUEGGE: Can you please be a bit more specific? "Fairly quickly" can be everything.
MR. McCLOSKEY: How about Tuesday?
JUDGE FLUEGGE: Tuesday of next week. 15571
MR. McCLOSKEY: Yes.
[Trial Chamber confers]
JUDGE FLUEGGE: We are okay with that, and we are looking forward to receive your reply by Tuesday next week.
MR. McCLOSKEY: Thank you. We'll continue to discuss things, if we can work anything out. There are some interesting ideas and issues. And if we can work something out, we'll get back to you sooner than that, but we'll do our best.
JUDGE FLUEGGE: If there are no other matters to discuss before the witness is brought in, then we have to move into closed session because we are hearing a witness with protective measures. That means, in this specific case, closed session.
